Trebuchet

I was impressed with the trebuchet demonstration. They flung a ball ridiculously high into the air, and it landed too far away to even see. It's run completely by manpower-- there are men running inside the wheels to wind up the trebuchet. I couldn't believe when the speaker (at the front) told us how people used it as a weapon back in the Middle Ages to fling diseased cow carcasses or fire into the castle walls.
